One year ago today, I made a super impulsive decision and wrote my first post. I knew nothing about blogging, networking, writing, or crafting. It just looked fun. I had no idea how much time it would take or the commitment involved. In hindsight, I'm so glad I didn't know because I probably wouldn't have done it.

How's that for complete honesty?

Blogging has been an outlet for me. I don't really think I've ever had a true "hobby" before and this has given me two: DIY/crafting and blogging. Plus, the best part is that it's allowed me to develop friendships with incredible women that I never would have known otherwise.

I set a couple of New Year's Resolutions for my blog and myself. One was to hit 350 followers by today. Thanks to GFC making some major changes, it's hard to tell how many we have now because people follow us through a million different outlets. But if I total everything up, I have 419 followers (feedburner, BlogLovin, Linky Followers and Networked Blogs). You can join in the fun in so many ways:


 

Yay! I'm so thankful for my followers and that people actually want to read what I have to say. I am so inspired by so many blogs and am kind of confused in awe that I have that affect on others.

 

God has truly blessed me this past year and I'm honestly believe that He led me to do this. I'm so excited to see how He uses this blog in my life and in other's lives.
